Solar Home Inverter is an uninterruptible power supply for domestic appliances like Personal Computers, Internet Routers, Lights, Fans, Televisions, Set top boxes, Gaming consoles, Air Coolers, and other home appliances. The appliances will run from mains whenever healthy AC power is available. On power failure or unhealthy conditions the load is transferred to backup power smoothly so that the user will not face any interruption to the appliances. It also gives protection to appliances from harmful conditions like power outage, over voltages, under voltages, power line disturbance and surges by supplying filtered mains supply. Solar Home Inverter has a very intelligent and highly configurable battery charger to ensure longer battery life with minimum water top-up requirement. The switched mode charger integrated in the Solar Home Inverter can charge batteries very rapidly even with very low mains voltages. Solar Home Inverter may also be installed with solar panels to additionally charge batteries in non-grid areas. The system has inbuilt solar charger to ensure proper charging of the batteries from connected solar panels. There are provisions in the unit to customize mains grid voltage range, Solar / Grid preference, Battery type selection and charging current range depending on the battery capacity installed.
